Terms & Conditions for Chasing Kaizen

1. Postponements
Coach Nik can postpone sessions due to gym availability, weather, or scheduling issues. Participants will be notified in advance and can either reschedule at no charge or receive a refund. If membership sessions cannot be completed by Coach Nik during the week for any reason, a free session or additional sessions will be discussed with the customer. Any time taken off by Coach Nik such as holidays, leave etc will result in memberships being temporarily suspended.
2. No Refunds for Absences
If a participant cannot attend a scheduled session for whatever reason, the player/s or parent must either notify Nik or cancel the session 24 hours prior to commencing otherwise any request of a refund will result in a 50% deposit of the total session being kept due to prep time, loss of income and time blocking. A no show will result in the full amount being kept.
3. Stadium Lights
Due to the stadium being overseen by the Geraldton Buccaneers & the Geraldton Amateur Basketball Association (GABA), a fee to use the facilities lights is required in order to use the courts. This is $2.50 per 15 mins ($10 for the hour session) and this price is included in the cost of all personal coaching sessions and memberships. You are responsible for this payment.
4. Policy Changes
Chasing Kaizen can modify this policy, with updates available on their website.
5. Voluntary Assumption of Risk
Participants acknowledge the risks associated with basketball training, including potential injuries and illness (like COVID-19). They assume full responsibility for these risks.
6. Waiver, Release and Indemnity
Participants waive any claims against Chasing Kaizen and release them from liability for injuries or damages resulting from training sessions. They also agree to indemnify Chasing Kaizen for any claims arising from their participation.
7. Medical Assistance
Participants must inform a coach if they become ill or injured and give permission for emergency medical services if necessary, acknowledging responsibility for associated costs.
8. Media Release
Participants consent to the use of their images for promotional materials on social media, the website and agree to receive program-related emails, with assurance that their details won’t be shared with third parties. If parents are wanting their children not to appear in any videos or other media, contact Nik directly at the sessions or via multiple messaging platforms.
