MY NAME IS NIK DESANTIS.

I have played competitive basketball for 15+ years. For a majority of my career, I was responsible for my personal own development on the court. I have learnt from many coaches over my time and hope to share my knowledge to help players of all ages grow into the best player they can be. Basketball has been a huge blessing in my life. It has taken me around the world, been responsible for endless connections and creating so many everlasting friendships. It has been a source of happiness in the darkest times of my life.  However, as I have grown and and gotten older, I've realized that basketball is more than just success, medals, trophies and accolades. Basketball actually shapes you to becoming the best person you can be and it teaches invaluable life lessons. Through the ups and downs of the game, I’ve learned about resilience, teamwork, and discipline. Each practice, each game, each workout has contributed to my character and perspective. Now, I’m eager to pass on this knowledge to the next generation. I want to help young players not only develop their skills but also understand the deeper significance of the sport. It’s about building confidence, learning to overcome adversity, and fostering a sense of community.  Basketball has the power to transform lives, and I’m excited to be a part of that journey for others. Whether it’s through coaching, mentoring, or simply sharing experiences, I hope to inspire players to embrace the game and its lessons, just as it has inspired me.
